Who we are

RideLedger is a bookkeeping helper for Australian rideshare drivers. It is not a registered tax agent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the ATO.

Bookkeeping data

When you create an account, income, expenses, parsed ledger rows, and uploaded bank CSVs or receipts are stored in your private RideLedger account on Supabase in Sydney (ap-southeast-2). Object storage is the private bank-uploads bucket, encrypted with AES-256-GCM before upload. Paths include your user id. The browser never receives a public file URL. Downloads go through a session-checked API. Free accounts may use a demo import; we do not store real bank files on Free.

Account and billing

Email (and Google profile email if you use Google) identifies your account. One driver, one account. Payments are processed by Stripe in TEST mode until live keys are configured. We store subscription status, not card numbers.

Deletion

Deleting your account downloads a last accountant pack if you are on Pro, then wipes blobs, ledger rows, and sessions. We do not keep copies “for the ATO.”
