Who we are

RideLedger is a bookkeeping helper for Australian rideshare drivers. It is not a registered tax agent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the ATO.

Bookkeeping data

When you create an account, income, expenses, and parsed ledger rows are stored in your private RideLedger account on Supabase in Sydney (ap-southeast-2). File import is Pro. Free is manual income and expenses. Pro stores originals in the private bank-uploads bucket, encrypted with AES-256-GCM before upload. Paths include your user id. The browser never receives a public file URL. Downloads go through a session-checked API.

Analytics

We count visits anonymously, without third-party trackers.

Account and billing

Email (and Google profile email if you use Google) identifies your account. One driver, one account. Payments are processed by Stripe in TEST mode until live keys are configured. We store subscription status, not card numbers.

Deletion

Deleting your account downloads a last accountant pack if you are on Pro, then wipes blobs, ledger rows, and sessions. We do not keep copies “for the ATO.”
